Thank God I was able to return the thing and get my money back. It would be a great product if it had a thermostat that allowed you pop in the bottle, and it'll only warm it to the safe level and keeps it at that temparature. But it doesn't. Any jug with hot water will do the same. In the end we prefer to use the Microwave now ... it's quicker and thus more reliable as the bottle is warm in 30s. They say that microwaving a bottle "zaps" the nutrients in the mix. Well, there are no nutrients in water. My wife and I first heat the bottle of water in the microwave then add powdered formula mix. We have it down to a science and after heating the bottle for about 5 seconds at a time you can figure out how long it takes exactly. He's 8 months old and we've been doing this since the beginning.
