If you have to warm up a bottle of milk in the middle of the night, time is of the essence. You are after all only awake because your little woke you up and is now fully awake waiting to be fed. A pot of hot water on the stove simply takes too long.

This machine from Philips Avent warms it up in 2-3 minutes. The best thing is that you can indicate if the bottle came out of the fridge or freezer and how much is in the bottle.

Product is extremely frustrating to use as it is inconsistent in what it's supposed to do: warm bottles. I've been using this product for the past 2 weeks and it often fails to heat the bottles correctly. Often it's too hot or it's not warm enough and I end up warming or cooling the bottle by running it under the faucet. The two button design tries to do too much and makes this product hard to use with one hand, especially when you're holding your baby. The design for suggested amount of water you're supposed to put in the bottle warmer is also poor and lacks clarity. If given the chance, I would return this product and look for something else.

I bought this from amazon. was very happy when I got it.

I read the manual before starting this thing.

I chose the temprature and the amount of milk, but it never got the job done at the first try.

I tried fridge and frozen tempratures. It's either cold or too hot.

I have to use the device again to get it done right when I choose the right amount of milk, or choose a higher bottle size and hope it gets done correctly.

Well. It heats faster that running the baby bottle under hot water, and thats it.

As other posters have stated, there's a learning phase involved to get the temperature correct since each baby has a different temperature preference. For us, if the 9oz Avent bottle came out from the fridge, we set the warmer to Fridge setting and add 2-3oz that what's actually in the bottle. So, a 9oz bottle holding 5oz of milk will be heated at Fridge setting 8oz. If the same bottle was a room temperature to begin with, we set it at the actual quantity. So, in this case, we set it for Room temperature 5oz. If you are using a 4oz bottle, add an additional 2oz to the 9oz settings.

Once you get the hang of it, it's a very good and reliable warmer.
